Winter Adventure

The three of us girls have no school on Fridays, so we decided to head out to the mountains for a little getaway. We had such a fun adventure hiking at Johnston Canyon to the frozen waterfalls. They were so beautiful this time of year. After our hike, we headed out to Lake Louise to see the ice festival. There is a castle sculpture made of ice that is so worth the drive to see. They also have a skating rink on the lake that I really want to go to another day. It looked like such a romantic date!

It was so nice to get out of the city for a while, even if it were just for one day. I hope you all have a chance to head out to the mountains soon and escape from your busy lives as well.
