TOP:

Hello loves,

I cannot believe 2018 is already here. I am so excited for all the things I have planned already and for all the possibilities that are still unknown. Every year, I think it is important to reflect and set reasonable goals for the year ahead. I always want to be working towards the best version of myself and creating a life that I love.

Goal #1: Post on my blog twice a week.

This may sound simple but in reality, it is very difficult. I am a full-time student at Mount Royal University, I coach two soccer teams, I recently started working at HotShop, I work as a social media manager for my dad’s business and I also love to spend time with my family, friends, and Jake. My blog is very important to me but it can sometimes take the back burner while the rest of my life is going on. I want to make it a major priority for myself this year and aim to post as much as possible while still keeping a reasonable goal of twice a week.

Goal #2: Stick to my anti-inflammatory diet.

Over the holidays, I tend to let loose a little with my diet and I want to get back on track to feel the best I can. My diet helps with my headaches and migraines but it also helps with my energy levels and my overall mindset.

Goal #3: Be more adventurous.

This is one of our couple goals for Jake and I. We have been dating for a long time now and sometimes when you have been with someone for a while you tend to get comfortable and don’t try as many new things or get out as much. Jake and I set a goal of doing at least one new/fun thing a month.

Goal #4: Live a more active lifestyle.

I have always been a very active person. I played soccer very competitively my entire life but I have had to stop playing so much because it doesn’t work around my busy coaching schedule. I feel so much better when I work out and I want to continue to do it more. I recently got a membership at HotShop to do hot yoga and spin. I did their one month trial in the summer and I absolutely fell in love with their classes. I hope to go as much as possible this year and take advantage of my membership.

What are your goals for the new year? I’d love to hear some of them in the comments.

P.S. I got this sweatsuit from Brunette the Label for Christmas after wanting it for soooo long and I absolutely adore it. Whenever I am at home, I am wearing it. It is so comfy and cozy but also totally cute. My mom and dad were at the Nordstrom in Ottawa and they said they had the best customer service ever when they bought my sweatsuit. I love Nordstrom for its great return policy and lovely service. I highly recommend going there first to get your products before anywhere else.

Love,

Lolo
