DRESS: Zara (similar styles here and here) // SHOES: Winners (similar styles here and here) // PURSE: Ted Baker Bow Clutch
I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend, sipped a few cold ones on a patio and relaxed a little. It was so nice for me to finally get a day to catch up on my Netflix shows and sleep. I have been working upwards of 50 hours a week this summer and this weekend was finally my first break from coaching and work and it was so enjoyable. I didn’t do anything extremely exciting or go anywhere interesting but I was able to take a couple moments for myself and that was nice. I’d love to hear how you spent your long weekend, tell me in the comments!
This dress screams country bumpkin to me, the pattern and the colour. I absolutely love the Wizard of Oz, farm-girl-feel of this dress but also how it is easily dressed up with my baby pink Ted Baker clutch and a cute pair of mules for a night out with Bae.
When I was little, every time I tried on a dress, my sister would say, “Let’s see the twirl factor!” which meant when I spun around, the dress had to flip up or twirl in a fun way or I wasn’t allowed to buy it. This yellow gingham dress would most definitely pass the twirl factor test; my sister would be so proud. So, before you purchase your next skirt or dress please consider the twirl factor first otherwise, it’s just simply not worth the money.
Have a lovely week and don’t forget to stop by again to see more exciting posts this week.
